I’m off next week to the Big Apple, attending a conference put on by an organization called Business for Social Responsibility www.bsr.org. Big corporations may be an easy target – even a deserving one – for their contribution to the nasty state of our environment. But they finally seem to be coming around to the realization that it actually is good business strategy to think and act responsibly. OK, so it may be self-serving, i.e. healthy profits and feel-good PR from green behavior. Yet I can’t help but think that it’s a positive step in the right direction as long as they dedicate money, technology and human resources to help fix the mess that we’ve created. We are all in this together.
Feel free to contact Larry Richard, founder of Common Ground, directly at

the american citzenry has spoken and its very interesting that the politicians are finally talking about common ground! artists with their corporate patrons do have an important role in communicating that protecting and enhancing our environment is critical for future generations!
